Printable Post-it Notes: I love little notes, so that’s probably why I got way too excited when I realized I could print ONTO post-it notes. I made a few notes and fill-in-the-blank to dos for you to use, or you can easily make your own (just using the main template I’ve provided). Sep 25, 2019 Whilst this is a simple and free solution to post to Instagram from PC or Mac, there are many limitations. Despite the interface being almost identical to Instagram on mobile, it is missing all its editing tools and the ability to post multiple photos and videos. If you don’t have a pad of post-it notes on your desk but you need to make a quick note, you can create an onscreen reminder in a couple of ways. Use Windows 7’s Sticky Note Accessory You have to be running Windows 7 to have this feature. To create a sticky note: Click on Start and go to 'All Programs.'

Stickies is an application for Apple Macintoshcomputers that puts Post-it note-like windows on the screen, for the user to write short reminders, notes and other clippings. Contents are automatically stored, and restored when the application is restarted.[1]
An unrelated freeware program with the same name and functionality is available for Microsoft Windows.[citation needed]

Similar applications (described as 'desktop notes') are available for most operating systems.[citation needed]
History[edit]
In 1994, the first version of Stickies was written by Apple employee Jens Alfke and included in System 7.5. Alfke had originally developed it in his free time as Antler Notes and intended to release it as shareware doing business as Antler Software. Apple planned to acquire it from him, but then realized that they already legally owned it under the terms of his employment.[2]
During the transition to Mac OS X in 2001, Stickies was rewritten in Cocoa, and is still included in macOS, now with features such as transparent notes, styled text, and the ability to embed pictures in notes.[citation needed]
A feature-reduced version of Stickies has been included with Dashboard as a widget since Mac OS X Tiger. An updated version of Stickies (Core Data Stickies) was included in the Xcode developer examples in Mac OS X Tiger.[citation needed]

The Sticky Notes accessory enables you to plaster the electronic equivalent of good old-fashioned Post-It notes all over your Windows 7 desktop. You can use Sticky Notes in Windows 7 as onscreen reminders: you can even color code them to help you stay organized.
They remain securely wherever you put them on the desktop until you delete them!
1To create a Sticky Note, click Start→All Programs→Accessories→Sticky Notes.
Windows opens a new blank note on the desktop, positioning the cursor at the beginning of the note.

2Type the text of the note.
Format it like you would a post-it.
3You can also format the note text if you want.
Just select the desired text and then press the appropriate shortcut key: Ctrl+B for bold text, Ctrl+I for italics, and Ctrl+U for underlining.
You’ll notice that the text automatically wraps to a new line, and if your text doesn’t fit on the note, Windows automatically expands the height of the note to accommodate the length of your note.
4When you finish entering the note text, simply click somewhere on the desktop outside the sticky note itself.
Alternatively, you can click the New Note button (the one with the plus sign) to start a new sticky note. The note you create will stay on the desktop.
If you use sticky notes, you’ll want to get acquainted with the Sticky Notes Quick Launch button on the taskbar. Click it once to temporarily hide all the sticky notes on your desktop. To bring all of your sticky notes back to the desktop or to the top of the windows on the desktop, click it again.
5To color-code a sticky note, right-click the note and then click the color you want.
Your choices here are Blue, Green, Pink, Purple, White, or Yellow.
6To delete a note that you no longer need, click its Delete button in the upper-right corner.
The first time you delete a note, Windows asks you to confirm the deletion. If you don’t want to see this alert again, select the Don’t Display This Message Again check box before you click Yes.
